• About: ♥ I'm 31 years old & currently in the Western suburbs of Chicago-- I've lived in the metro-Chicago area my whole life.    ♥ I'm a good mom, wife & friend; and I have a BIG heart. ♥ I'm intelligent, charismatic, trustworthy, creative, faithful  & loyal. ♥ I've been married to David Rivera since May 2000-- he's gorgeous; & an amazing, hardworking family man. I love him with all of my heart & soul! ♥ I have 2 handsome & smart sons- ages 11 & 7 yrs old.   My kids & my husband mean everything to me & much of my time is spent with them.  I have several great friends; many of which I've known for a large majority of my life & are basically like family.  ♥ In mid-November 2010 events  occurred that have changed mine, & the my family's lives forever.  My youngest son suffered medical trauma's that began a horrific fight for his life AND our family's emotional, medical & financial devastation. Today, in early 2012; I'm still scrabbling to put the pieces of our lives back together. I know that our lives, nor the lives of EACH of my close family member's  best friends will NEVER be the same..... My son will never be the same little boy he was before his ordeal, he will always be just a little different than other kids his age- he will always have to suffer just to live a normal life-- for a really, really long time. I have become a stronger, wiser & cautious woman... & I've learned many things - & to definitely NOT to take anyhing for granted.    PROFESSIONALLY --- ♥ I'm an educated & experienced Business (& Administrative) Professional with an AABA Associates of Arts in Business Administration, Criminal Justice & Science. *[ VIEW my FULL Professional Portfolio @ http://www.janinarivera.zoomshare.com/ ]. IN GENERAL -- ♥ Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I love the colors blue, purple and black but green is my favorite. The numbers '3', '8' and '33' will always be my numbers. ♥ I love the rain.... I love to watch the rain; & the sound of rain on the window it allows me to relax enough to fall asleep. ♥ Throughout my life I have faced many obstacles. triumphed and have been defeated. laughed & I have cried. suffered & I have been overwhelmed with joy. taken risks & I have missed opportunities. faced fear & accomplishment. doubted & have been reassured. succeeded & I have failed.  met amazing people who have come & gone, but all of whom will never be forgotten. ♥ ♥
